Our Past

Belles Service Organization was established in 1960 as the official “hostesses” of Loyola University. At that time, Belles and Crimson Circle were the only two service organizations at LMU. All service was done on campus by greeting and assisting at masses, athletic events, and formal university events. Belles has now expanded to serving off campus in the Los Angeles community and continues to assist at LMU events.  Today this 50-member organization is composed of sophomore, junior and senior women dedicated to giving time and service to the University and the community beyond. Belles are dedicated to service and are building relationships within the organization and with the communities they serve, “in service, love, and solidarity.”63b8d9becbaaaea3c89c9cbfc31bf782.jpg
